About dk2424: Hmmm, what am I like. I am introverted. I come across as standoffish when I am really just shy. Usually the more I like a person the less likely I am to be talkative. I'm the strong and silent type? I'm a romantic who enjoys the journey as well as the destination.
Aside from the smug superiority I get at analyzing the interactions and the social hierarchy of people at clubs like Jane Goodall did with the apes in the jungle, I don't do well at clubs or the usual gay scenery. I can't hear myself think and I don't like shouting at people to talk with them. A cafe or a lounge is more up my ally.
I honestly have a low tolerance of other gay guys. My closest friends are straight and *gasp* some of them are men I have no attraction to! Sometimes that makes me the token Homo of the group and sometimes I take that a little too seriously and make an effort to elevate our image.
I also enjoy just being outdoors, whether it's doing something active like biking or hiking or swimming, or simply enjoying some wine on the porch
